Back home from Microsoft Ignite in Chicago. Trying to sum up a week in a few words is not easy, but I’ll give it a shot.
Purview
Satya Nadella’s keynote stressed how important Microsoft Purview is today. He called it “probably the product for this conference.” Purview helps keep our data safe and in order, which is more important than ever with AI constantly changing how we use data.
Copilot Studio
This cool tool lets businesses tweak their AI setups by connecting to other data sources. It’s all about making AI work the way you need it to.
Copilot+ PCs
The newest Windows updates bring advanced AI features right to our PCs. With Copilot+ PCs, you can enjoy faster searches in File Explorer, live captions for any media, and new creative tools in Paint. These features make using your PC easier and keep your data private and quick to access.
Windows Recall
Windows Recall is back, now off by default. It gives users better control over their snapshots, keeping them safe and accessible only by the owner. Snapshots are stored on your device, and no one else, not even Microsoft or your IT department, can access them. To use Recall, you need to sign in with face or fingerprint recognition for extra security with the help of Windows Hello Advanced Sign-in Security.
Microsoft is really pushing the future of AI, security, and productivity at work.
