Convert Copilot response into a Word file

Microsoft has announced a new feature on their roadmap that will let you convert any Copilot response into a Word document with just one click. If Copilot generates something helpful, like a summary, a list of tasks, or an FAQ, you won’t need to copy and paste it somewhere else. You’ll be able to save it directly as a Word file .

This feature is expected to roll out in April 2025, and it’s going to be a real time-saver. Anyone who’s worked with Copilot knows how useful its responses can be. But moving that information around, like turning it into a file you can share or edit, often adds a few extra steps. Those extra steps, even if small, can slow you down, especially when you’re juggling a busy day.

This feature will be available on OneDrive Web for commercial users who have a Microsoft 365 Copilot license.
