Hosting webinars will be easier with Microsoft Teams new feature

As someone who frequently hosts and moderates webinars, I know firsthand how challenging it can be to juggle multiple chat windows. Between keeping the audience engaged, coordinating with co-presenters, and ensuring everything runs smoothly, having a streamlined setup can make a world of difference. That’s why I’m so excited about Microsoft Teams’ upcoming feature: a separate chat exclusively for organizers, co-organizers, and presenters during webinars.

Currently, many of us resort to using external or separate chat windows to coordinate behind the scenes during a webinar. This often means toggling between multiple windows, which can be distracting and time-consuming. With this new feature, Teams will allow organizers and presenters to chat privately within the same platform. This chat will be completely separate from the attendee chat, giving us a dedicated space to collaborate before, during, and after the event.
